A smarter, fresher, enthusiastic, attitude for your business

Cloud Computing –
What is it?

It is hosted services over the Internet, divided into Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaA).

Essentially this moves the business IT systems, your servers, services, programs, phone systems and more to a secure location on the internet, where a vendor manages everything for you.

All upgrades, bug fixes and security updates for your servers and applications are taken care of. Often there is no hardware requirement in your office and by paying a nominal per user, per month fee you eliminate the costs and complexities associated with having to maintain your own email servers or even desktops, finance applications and more.

  • No capital outlay on hardware or software and routine costly upgrades.
  • As your business grows, add more users or services.
  • If your business downsizes, you can save costs by paying for less users.
  • Access your data, email, finances etc from anywhere, anytime.
  • It is not new technology; examples are Google Apps, SalesForce and Amazon among many, many more.
  • This is also a great step towards a Disaster Recovery solution.
